Unfortunately, we will not offer a refund for change of mind. We are happy to replace or refund (at our discretion) any candle that you’re not entirely satisfied with. We just ask that you to provide additional documentation, such as photos, for any products reported as damaged when received. Before lighting your Crystal Aroma Candle, ensure you have trimmed the wicks to 1/4 inch. Please ensure the wicks are trimmed to 1/4 inch prior to each subsequent burn. When burning a double wicked candle, always light both wicks each burn. To recieve the most burn time out of your candle, ensure you let the candle burn long enough to melt to the sides of the jar. This will avoid tunnelling and give you a consistent burn each time. Never leave a candle burning longer than 4 hours. This is for safety but to also ensure you're recieving the maximum burn efficiency each time. For safety precautions, please extinguish the candle as the flame nears the base of the jar. This is important to ensure the jar does not get too hot!

No! This is actually a good indicator that your candle is a 100% soy wax candle. Soy candles are also prone to "sweating" and "wet-spots" this is where the candle wax will appear to have little sweat beads on the surface or dark spots on the glass. This is due to the composition of a natural wax. Soy wax will heat and cool and cause some of the oils to seperate creating the appearance of sweat beading. If the candle jar has some dark spots this may be due to the adherance of the wax to the glass jar. Natural soy waxes will commonly pull away from the sides of the jar and can only be helped if artifical additives or Petroleum is added to the candle wax when being poured. The glass adherance will not affect your candle burn in any way and is purely cosmetic. Crystal Aroma candles are not created with any artificial colours or additivies and are hand poured in small batches making them all completely unique! Each candle scent will have a different colouration effect on the natural soy wax that we use. This is completely normal and nothing to be concerned about. You will commonly find that any candles containing vanilla will have a creamier colour than other scents. Great question and well done on repurposing your candle! We have tried many methods to removing wax and find that pouring boiling water into the jar and letting the wax melt works best. Leave the wax to melt and re-harden in the jar, it should float to the top in a little disc form. You can then dispose of this wax in the waste bin or place into your wax warmer for further use. To remove the wick, place a spoon under the metal wick tab and gently wiggle until the tab and wick come free from the jar. 🥚 Please note: As the candle jar contains a metal wick tab we advise it you not to place your jar into the microwave to melt the wax remaining.

We have tried and tested a few methods at Crystal Aroma HQ and have found the most success in using a spoon to gently apply pressure to the crystal to "pop" it away from the wax. This is the safest and simplest method we have found! The top of the candle will appear lumpy or indented after removing the crystals but don't worry as your candle is not ruined! After 1-2 burns the candle will smooth over and reset just as intended.
